Steven D. Rogers

Mr. Steven D Rogers is a Disabled Veteran who retired in September 2014 from the U.S. Army after serving 22 years. During his career in the Army, Steve served in Desert Storm, deployed three times, and served during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Mr. Rogers was invited to be a Team Member/Ambassador for the CJ3 Foundation in December 2021. He has been the handler of Sigrún, “Ziggy” his service dog, since August 2022. Currently, Mr. Rogers is a web content writer/researcher for the Department of Defense, specializing in state military and Veterans benefits. Mr. Rogers and his wife, Mary, have three adult daughters. Mr. Rogers enjoys fishing, woodworking and working with his service dog Ziggy.
